On the Move: WBDC Welcomes Mason-Craig as Outreach Coordinator

The Women’s Business Development Council is announcing the hiring of Ronae Mason-Craig as outreach coordinator for its new office location in Waterbury – scheduled to open later this year. She will be responsible for expanding WBDC’s reach in the Waterbury area.

A lifelong Waterbury resident, Mason-Craig has a long history of helping those in the community who need it most. She began her professional career in health care, initially as a certified nurse’s aide before becoming a licensed practical nurse. In 2017, after nine years in nursing, Mason-Craig pivoted and founded a nonprofit organization for women and children. Two years later, she opened a coworking/event space in Waterbury. Most recently, Mason-Craig worked for a community-based health initiative to advance health literacy in Waterbury.
