Federal money supports Hartford Women Business Center

HARTFORD, CONN (WTIC Radio)-A $150-thousand grant will allow the Women’s Business Development Council to start a women’s business center in Hartford.

The matching grant is for three years.

The Council supports economic prosperity for women through entrepreneurial and financial educational services, growing sustainable jobs. It provides access to education, training mentoring, business  development and financing opportunities.
