I am a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping individuals overcome life’s challenges and achieve their fullest potential. With over 16 years of experience in the field, I specialize in providing compassionate and evidence-based therapy to clients struggling with various issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

I hold a Master of Social Work degree from Springfield College and is licensed to practice in the state of New York and Connecticut. I have extensive training in cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care, allowing me to tailor treatment to meet the unique needs of each individual.

As a trusted therapist, I create a safe and nonjudgmental space where individuals can explore their thoughts and emotions openly. I believe in empowering individuals to build resilience, develop coping skills, and cultivate meaningful connections in their lives.

At Heart in Hand Healing Arts we utilize a holistic approach to healing through both art therapy and counseling. Through gentle curiosity and warmth we will turn inwards to explore and redefine painful emotions such as internalization and shame.

Art therapy is a helpful modality to explore trauma, shame, sadness and fear. Art nurtures exploration without language through metaphor allowing us to “zoom out” and explore with safety and intention. No special materials or experience is necessary!
