Design Elementary is a creative education company dedicated to introducing children to the world of graphic design at an early age. Rooted in the belief that creativity is a foundational skill, Design Elementary provides engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that empower children to think critically, solve problems, and express themselves visually.

Through interactive workbooks, digital lessons, hands-on workshops, and accessible resources for educators and parents, Design Elementary bridges the gap between traditional education and creative exploration. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed for young learners, breaking down complex design concepts, such as color, typography, and composition, into simple, exciting, and practical lessons that children can immediately apply.

Furnishing Faith assists people emerging from homelessness and have secured a permanent home.  We partner with social service agencies to identify individuals or families in need. Most of the time they are only supplied a bed so we assist by fully furnishing the home with community donations of furniture, household goods, decor, linens, etc. This provides a functional and aesthetic home so a new chapter of their life can begin with dignity and comfort.

Welcome to Charleen’s Portrait Studio, where for 25 years our Master Photographer has turned life’s milestones into “priceless” heirloom art. We specialize in story-driven family and children’s portraits, capturing everything from toddlers to full generations. We also offer high-fashion senior sessions and professional executive portraits to help your personal brand bloom. Beyond traditional photography, we host magical limited-edition events like our award-winning Santa Experience. With over two decades of expertise, our creative sessions capture the whimsical story of who you are in this moment.

Salt Cove Publications is a new, small, woman-owned publisher. Jean Baur is the founder as well as the author of the first books published by Salt Cove Publicaitons. The illustrator of these board books, Ginda Citra, lives in Indonesia and has done a beautiful job of making the text come to life. The editor, Karla Umland, is a Connecticut librarian and assistant director of the Stonington Free Library. Jean calls her books “little books making a big difference” as she has donated many copies to help children in need have books. The company was launched in the spring of 2025, and the first book, “What Do Toes Do?” came out in October. The second book in this series, “What Does Your Nose Do?” will be out in March, 2026.

Edit is a professional portrait, event, and travel photographer, based in Stamford, Connecticut. After a successful career spanning over 20 years in financial accounting, in 2022 she decided to hang up her hat to follow her dream and passion full-time as a photographer.
