My work is deeply personal—I’ve lived this journey myself, having been coached financially for over 10 years. I bring both this lived experience and over 20 years of professional expertise working with families, which allows me to guide clients through meaningful behavioral change using a coaching approach that blends education, accountability, and mindset work. The results are real: families gain clarity, reduce financial stress, and begin building lasting financial peace.

We are a boutique consulting firm specializing in school, district, school board, and state education agency transformation and the intersections of education and democracy. Our mission is to provide education agencies, organizations and foundations with the tools and support they need to drastically improve public education for all children and to empower communities. We have extensive experience in: systems change, continuous improvement, leadership development (coaching, board retreats), strategic planning and thought partnership, research and writing (qualitative and light quantitative), project and program management, proposal and grant writing, and change management. Dr. Corbett is a former school board member, podcaster, champion of civic education, and board member, and governance chair, of a place-based non-profit organization.

Rocio’s Learning Development Center is a childcare program that offers preschool care for ages 0 year to 5 years old and before and after school care for ages 6 years to 12 years old, that provides high-quality childcare in a loving, safe, and stimulating environment that enriches the children during their crucial years of development.

L.I.F.T was created by the late John “Dolo Deyo Ello” Ragin and his wife Mellodye “Sweets” Green-Ragin as an outreach program for students ages 7 to 17 who may be faced with pressure from their peers. Sweets and Dolo saw the void in that area during their own childhood and wanted to offer a positive way to fill idle time.

The program is designed to be an outreach, as well as an outlet, for youth and young adults interested in different aspects of the entertainment industry, including, music, film, recording, acting, photography, videography, song writing, modeling, music production, studio engineering and more!

Piano instruction for ages 4 to adult. Individual instruction during engaging lessons and small classes. Students from over 14 towns and 34 schools and homeschool from Fairfield County and beyond. Experience learning to read music with a teacher who loves her job and has been teaching over 40 years.

Our five core programs address immediate needs and build long-term capacity: Anchor Essentials provides emergency assistance including diaper banks, clothing distribution, and food security. Anchor Support offers parent education and family resource navigation. Anchor Educate delivers professional development for early childhood educators. Anchor Connect builds community partnerships and referral networks. Anchor Advocate drives policy and systems change initiatives.

Through strategic partnerships and evidence-based programming, we address critical gaps in early childhood support by taking a holistic approach that recognizes children’s success depends on stable families and strong communities.
