Dr. Corbett is a former school board member, podcaster, champion of civic education, and board member, and governance chair, of a place-based non-profit organization.

Rocio’s Learning Development Center is a childcare program that offers preschool care for ages 0 year to 5 years old and before and after school care for ages 6 years to 12 years old, that provides high-quality childcare in a loving, safe, and stimulating environment that enriches the children during their crucial years of development.

RAHZ TaxPro Training LLC is an educational and accounting services organization in Connecticut focused on supporting Hispanic families, entrepreneurs, and small business owners through accessible, skills-based training. Our programs—covering bookkeeping, QuickBooks Online, payroll, tax preparation, and business startup guidance—equip participants with practical knowledge to launch businesses, increase income, or strengthen existing operations.

Through initiatives such as Community Impact Mentoring, we expand economic opportunities for underserved communities by offering free or low-cost training, financial literacy education, and hands-on business support.

NorthEast Education Consulting LLC offers consulting services focused on the cognitive and social development of children and adults. Our Early Childhood Education Division offers Love & Laughter Daycare, a family home daycare and after school service to area residents in Bridgeport, CT. The “Educating Through SEL” curriculum is tailored for preschool and prekindergarten aged children in the program. STEAM activities are offered to all students. Our Mission

L.I.F.T was created by the late John “Dolo Deyo Ello” Ragin and his wife Mellodye “Sweets” Green-Ragin as an outreach program for students ages 7 to 17 who may be faced with pressure from their peers. Sweets and Dolo saw the void in that area during their own childhood and wanted to offer a positive way to fill idle time.

The program is designed to be an outreach, as well as an outlet, for youth and young adults interested in different aspects of the entertainment industry, including, music, film, recording, acting, photography, videography, song writing, modeling, music production, studio engineering and more!

Piano instruction for ages 4 to adult. Individual instruction during engaging lessons and small classes. Students from over 14 towns and 34 schools and homeschool from Fairfield County and beyond. Experience learning to read music with a teacher who loves her job and has been teaching over 40 years.

Our five core programs address immediate needs and build long-term capacity: Anchor Essentials provides emergency assistance including diaper banks, clothing distribution, and food security. Anchor Support offers parent education and family resource navigation. Anchor Educate delivers professional development for early childhood educators. Anchor Connect builds community partnerships and referral networks. Anchor Advocate drives policy and systems change initiatives.
