Kenyétta is a Program Manager with the Women’s Business Development Council (WBDC). Ms. Banks is responsible for managing programs and services to assist aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners who seek information about their business goals. She also conducts one-on-one counseling for WBDC, helping individuals on specific business and career challenges.
Ms. Banks brings over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit world. In recent years, she has been managing organizations that focused on supporting youth and families. Her main goal was helping adults become self-sufficient. Having that strong passion to help people who are stuck, Ms. Banks became a Certified Life Coach to continue her mission.
Being passionate about learning new things excites her. Ms. Banks considers herself as a lifetime learner. This helps her stay a positive motivator for others. She is a graduate from Sacred Heart University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and a Master’s in Public Administration/Nonprofit Management from University of New Haven.
Besides supporting others, her hobbies include cooking/baking, creating fairy gardens, Feng Shui and Aromatherapy.
