The Women’s Business Development Council  (WBDC) is host to three U.S. Small Business Administration – Office of Women’s Business Ownership (OWBO) Women’s Business Centers (WBCs).  The WBC program was founded to foster the growth of women-owned businesses by providing access to education, training, mentoring, business development and financing opportunities to women throughout the United States and its territories.

Based in New Haven, the Naugatuck Valley Women’s Business Center offers a variety of programs in the central region serving communities in New Haven and Hartford counties, as well as parts of Fairfield and Litchfield counties.  Programs for aspiring, emerging and established entrepreneurs are conducted virtually and at training sites throughout the western, central and eastern regions.
