The Women’s Business Development Council (WBDC) is host to three U.S. Small Business Administration – Office of Women’s Business Ownership (OWBO) Women’s Business Centers (WBCs). The WBC program was founded to foster the growth of women-owned businesses by providing access to education, training, mentoring, business development and financing opportunities to women throughout the United States and its territories.
Based in Derby, this center offers a variety of programs and services for the greater Naugatuck Valley and New Haven communities. Programs and services for aspiring, emerging and established entrepreneurs are conducted in Bridgeport, Derby, Milford, New Haven and Shelton.
