Women’s Business Center – Naugatuck Valley
The Women’s Business Development Council (WBDC) is host to three U.S. Small Business Administration – Office of Women’s Business Ownership (OWBO) Women’s Business Centers (WBCs). The WBC program was founded to foster the growth of women-owned businesses by providing access to education, training, mentoring, business development and financing opportunities to women throughout the United States and its territories.
Based in New Haven, the Naugatuck Valley Women’s Business Center offers a variety of programs and services for the greater Naugatuck Valley, Greater New Haven and South Central Connecticut communities. Programs and services for aspiring, emerging and established entrepreneurs are conducted in Bridgeport, Derby, Milford, New Haven and Shelton.

Evening hours offered for programming, and for counseling appointments upon request.
Note: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all WBDC physical office locations are closed until further notice. However, we are operating remotely, with all live programs and services being offered virtually via Zoom videoconference and/or phone. We look forward to continuing to support you on your entrepreneurial journey, and welcoming you to our new offices in New Haven when normal business operations resume.
