STAMFORD, Conn. — The Women’s Business Development Council (WBDC) is pleased to announce the return of Moira Collins to its Board of Directors. Collins has more than 30 years of experience in advisory services, including product marketing, product development, client experience, and strategic initiatives. She previously served on the board from June 2014 until May 2023, most recently as its Treasurer.

Moira Collins is a retired senior executive with a distinguished career in business leadership, most recently as Group Vice President of Strategic Programs at Gartner. Throughout her career, she advanced through numerous roles in sales, marketing, and business operations, building extensive expertise in transformational change initiatives, global team leadership, market strategy development, client experience design, product lifecycle management, and comprehensive marketing strategies.
Before joining Gartner, Collins held key roles in marketing and finance at both Playtex Apparel and Amerigroup, further honing her skills in business strategy and organizational development. In addition to her corporate work, she has been an active leader in the nonprofit sector, previously serving as Treasurer for the Women’s Business Development Council (WBDC).
Post-retirement, Collins supports entrepreneurs as a mentor with SCORE, helping to develop business plans, marketing strategies, and product development. She also previously served on the Executive Committee and as a board member of My Autism Connection. Collins holds an M.B.A. in marketing and finance from the University of Connecticut and a B.S. from St. Lawrence University.
