Three new members have been appointed to the Women’s Business Development Council’s Board of Directors for 2024: Erin Kang, Chief Underwriting Officer, Regional and Specialty at Gen Re; Nichelle Waddell, owner at Watch Me Grow Daycare and Preschool; and Michael Weinstock, Regional President, Hartford, at M&T Bank.

“We are pleased to welcome these three remarkable business and community leaders to WBDC’s Board of Directors,” said WBDC Founder and CEO Fran Pastore in a news release. “Erin, Michael, and Nichelle each bring diverse and specialized experience that will enhance the strength of our existing Board, which we rely on consistently as we pursue our mission to drive women’s economic equity.”

In addition, WBDC Co-Founder and Chief Advisory Officer Dorothy Bratchell will be recognized by the National Organization of Italian American Women Connecticut Region as one of “Three Wise Women” at their annual Celebrating the Epiphany event.
