State and local leaders were at Stamford-based Philip Morris International Monday to announce a partnership between the city’s Women’s Business Development Council and PMI.

Beginning next January, PMI will contribute $1 million per year for five years to the WBDC to support its efforts to reduce systemic barriers to women.

PMI recently relocated their corporate headquarters to Stamford and wanted to celebrate its entrance to the Stamford business community and International Women’s Month.
