Community Connections

Gain strength in community

We know just how valuable it can be to connect with fellow business owners and leaders during this time. We are keeping our community together through social media, videos, virtual jam sessions, podcasts and more.

We will get through this, together. We are a strong community – for you and with you.

Choose from our growing list of opportunities:

In mid-April, WBDC launched WBDC Connect – our online directory and evolving network membership program, to share information, insights and inspiration.  Charter Members get invitations to virtual and in-person networking events, and access to a private WBDC Connect Facebook Group, a safe space for clients and local business owners to share ideas, challenges and more.  Eligible business owners can also promote their business in our online directory. Become a Charter Member of WBDC Connect today! View our business directory.

Gather for our WBDC Group Support calls – designed as informal calls, these sessions will allow business owners and entrepreneurs to pose their questions and concerns to WBDC Business Advisors, while hearing what others in our community are doing to navigate these challenging times. Participate in as many sessions as you like, via Zoom (preferred – we enjoy seeing you!), or phone.  Learn more about these sessions. Mondays at 10AMRegister for the series

Follow us on  Facebook Live for regular videos from WBDC CEO Fran Pastore – she shares insights from her connections with local, state and federal leaders, uplifting messages, and access to resources.

Tune into our podcast series, WBDC Conversations – our staff, volunteers, industry experts and clients share advice on topics that matter to you, including networking, managing your finances, running a business, and so much more. Our latest episode, How Do You Define Success, discusses how your motivations and aspirations might impact your business strategy. (No download required!)

Don’t forget to bookmark this page, and our COVID-19 Resources page to stay in the know. Also follow us on social media to get the latest updates – we do a daily 2pm update on Facebook & LinkedIn.
