Do you have an idea for a business, and are unsure of what to do next?  Join us for two workshops, which will cover the basics to get you going. Come meet experts and immerse yourself in topics that will help you to jump start your business.

Session1: 10 Steps to Starting a Business – Do you have a business concept, but are not sure how to turn your idea into an actual business? During this workshop, WBDC experts will walk you through the 10 steps to get your business going. You will leave feeling empowered and with a solid understanding of the steps you should be prepared take before launching your business.

Session 2: Financial Basics – This workshop will provide a basic overview of financial forecasting and the importance of detailed financial projections when preparing to launch your business.

Bio: CAROL CHESWICK: Carol is a Business Specialist with the Women's Business Development Council (WBDC). Carol brings over 30 years of experience in finance, marketing, investing and executive consulting to WBDC. Since joining the organization in 2012, Carol has empowered hundreds of clients through one-on-one counseling. She also teaches GPS – a Guide to Plan for Success, WBDC’s signature business plan development program. KRISTEN SULLIVAN: Kristen is the Associate Director, Finance Analytics & Leader of Finance Rotational Program at Point72.
