Gain a comprehensive understanding of business building fundamentals and emerge from this class with a blueprint firmly in hand. Give your business concept the advantage of a well thought out plan. This 5-session course is taught by industry experts in an intimate and dynamic peer-to-peer environment and is supported by an interactive online tool to guide you every step of the way. Topics include Business Basics, Marketing Plan, Business Types/Legal Entities, Basic Financials, Hands-on Business Plan Development, Promoting Your Business in the Digital World, Cash & Getting Financed, Financial Forecasting, and Social Media Analysis.

Class dates: 5/7, 5/14, 5/21, 6/4 & 6/11

Location: Shelton

Reduced-fee scholarships available to those who qualify based on income guidelines.

Bio: Kenyetta is the Program Manager with the Women's Business Development Council (WBDC). Ms. Banks is responsible for managing programs and services to assist aspiring and established business owners who seek information about their business goals. She also conducts one-on-one counseling for WBDC, helping individuals on specific business and career challenges.

WBDC is able to offer its programs and services at afforable and/or reduced rates due to the support of Federal, State, Municipal, Corporate and Individual contributors and the programs or services you participate in are either partially or fully subsidized.
