Carol Cheswick

Carol Cheswick is a Business Advisor with the Women’s Business Development Council (WBDC). She joined the WBDC in 2012 and is responsible for working with aspiring and established business owners who seek to start, build and grow their business. She focuses on improving profitability, identifying opportunities and clarifying goals. Carol conducts both one-on-one and group business advising, and teaches classes.

Carol brings over 40 years of experience in strategic planning, finance, marketing, investing and executive consulting to her clients at WBDC. Carol was a managing director at Appleseed Food Frontiers, where she worked with aspiring food entrepreneurs looking to start and scale their food businesses. Outside of WBDC, Carol helps companies refine and execute business strategies. She also works with individual clients encouraging them to identify their own extraordinary talents.

Carol was a principal in her family’s investment management business, Cheswick Investment Co., Inc. She has also worked in a variety of positions at Citibank NA and Scudder, Stevens & Clark, (now part of Deutsche Bank). She is a graduate of Wellesley College and has an MBA in Finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
