United States Senator Richard Blumenthal offers his congratulations to the Women’s Business Development Council on 20 years of helping women business owners drive Connecticut’s economy forward.
As Senator Blumenthal recognizes, women-owned businesses are a significant part of the commercial sector nationally, but more needs to be done to grow their ranks. WBDC provides the building blocks for success through its entrepreneurial training, financial education, and access to capital coaching and workshops. Having attended several programs, Senator Blumenthal can attest to WBDC’s energy and spirit in helping women start and grow their businesses.
