In many aspects of our life, we wait until something NEEDS to be done before we take action. Haircuts are put off until a big event, doctor visits don’t happen until that pain in our side has become unbearable, “spring cleaning” happens in the winter before the in-laws come to town, and our personal finances stay out of sight until the bank account gets too low!
In the case of our personal finances, I can assure you IGNORANCE is in fact not BLISS! The sooner you address issues, concerns or questions, the sooner you can begin to create a plan. And knowledge is power!
There are a few times when it is good to review your finances, and perhaps seek advice for any questions you might have:
The Women’s Business Development Council offers free financial coaching to our clients. We match candidates with experienced financial professionals who can assist them in financial matters small and large. We welcome the opportunity to work with YOU! If you are interested in learning more about any of our financial programs, contact Samantha Cross (firstname.lastname@example.org).
