This unique and interactive series is designed for aspiring and emerging entrepreneurs who possess a written business concept and are ready to take the first step in the business planning process. WBDC’s 9-session program is designed to help you move from concept to new levels of growth as you create a business plan. The program is led by knowledgeable business instructors who provide resources, support and motivation.
The application process is easy. Class size is limited; applications will be processed in the order in which they are received.

Eligibility Requirements:
1. Must have a single business idea to work on while in class
2. Must be able to articulate idea/concept and provide written business concept statement
3. Must participate in an assessment interview with WBDC as part of the application process
Registration and Program Fee Includes:
1. Weekly instruction and discussion led by a WBDC Business Instructor
2. Guest expert lecturers and access to WBDC’s Business Advisory Networking resource
3. Web-based interactive tool
4. Training materials include books with homework exercises aimed at assisting the aspiring or new business owner in building success
5. Business plan review and consultation with WBDC Business Instructor pending on-time submission of completed business plan
Client Commitment:
1. Non-refundable deposit of $100 is due at time of acceptance into the program. The total program cost is $199.00. Reduced-fee scholarships are available to those who qualify, based on income guidelines.
2. Attend weekly classes.
3. Complete reading and homework assignments and participate in discussions.
4. Develop a working draft, including the individual components of a business plan using the web-based, interactive tool and other templates.
5. Submit a complete business plan (including financials) upon completion of program to gain access to one individual counseling session.
