CT Paid Leave is a new law that provides up to 12 weeks of income replacement for eligible employees taking leave for qualifying reasons and applies to most businesses with one or more employees in CT.

In this pilot program, up to 25 WBDC clients will have the opportunity to be paired with a dedicated advisor at the CT Paid Leave Authority who can help navigate the paid leave process when employees apply. This unique opportunity will offer businesses help with filling out required Employment Verification Forms, checking claims and payment status, and providing resources for workers to explain the claims process.
