How to Start and Grow a Food Business

This informative, interactive four-part series provides you with an understanding of the basic requirements and insights into what it takes to open a restaurant, bakery, food service establishment or launch a food product. At each session, you’ll hear from industry experts and Women Business Development Council’s own business advisors. Topics Include: What’s trending in the CT food landscape, food manufacturing, store placement, public health issues, legal requirements, start-up costs, marketing and business sustainability.

We all know our kids could be a little better with their money, but do we feel comfortable helping them?  In this class, we will explore ways to create a dialogue with our kids about money and teach them valuable lessons along the way.  We’ll learn what kids should know about money at each age and tools to make them more financially savvy.
